This is the 3nd Italian Summer Camp, following the success of the 1st & 2 st Summer Camp of 2008 - 09 which had to be divided into two dates due to its overwhelming response from all over mainland Europe.This year, it is expected that we will be attracting people from all over the world. TRAINING LOCATION
Location : Gym Catullus, viale michelangelo, 31 Desenzano del GardaDuration : 5 days

Times : 5 hrs a day (25hrs in total), starts 8.30amUse the locater on the right side of the website to find the gym.
IN YOUR FREE TIME WITH THE FAMILY
These are just recommendations, you will be surprised how reasonably priced the transport services are.Desenzano del Garda is located on the North of Italy, by driving it is only 30 minutes from Verona (city of Romeo and Juliet), 1hr 30 minutes from Milan, 2hrs from Venice; but the journey would be faster using the train that travels directy from each location - get the train.There is also a large them park for the children only a bus ride away, you can also take the train, visit http://www.gardaland.it/ watch the video of the rides here, http://www.youtube.com/gardaland?gl=IT&hl=itYou can also hire a small boat for the day to explore the lake.

There are 3 AIRPORTS which you can fly into;Verona - Milan Malpensa- Milan Bergamo (BGY)If you are flying in from around europe, you can use http://www.ryanair.com/ or http://www.easyjet.com/ (very reasonably price) I use these budget airline in all my travels throughout europe.You can then get the train from the airport to Desenzano Del Garda.

Per person - €300 (€100 deposit is required to book a place)Please make sure your expenses are well calculated for your journey.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE 5 DAYS
We will be an intensive seminar covering different aspects of SSBD from the;- Empty hands and footwork aspects of Kuntau,- The groundworks of Harimau and Buaya,- The Blade Arts (machete, knife, karambit)- Flexible Weapon.Training will be kept in a positive energy, please leave egos and selfish intentions at home.WHAT YOU HAVE TO BRING- 2x Blunt Training Knife (No sharp live knives)- 2x Rattan Sticks- Flexible Weapon (Compulsory); e.g, scarf, old clean t-shirt, etc.- Eye Protection (Compulsory)- Groin Protetion (Compulsory)- Knee Protection; e.g. volleyball knee pad (Compulsory)- Padded forearm protection (Optional)
PERSONAL HYGIENEP
lease keep personal hygiene on top of your list. The summer is hot and due to the numbers of people concentrated in one place, lets just say it would be uncomfortable training with someone that smells.
LIABILITY INSURANCE
Per person - €10As there will be a group of people travelling from different parts of the world attending the seminar. This is mandatory in Italy if you dont already have insurance.
